The Swiss made Centaur VS helmet features a hard wearing red/black finished skin, flip up front visor and ratchet adjustable headband tightener. The VS stands for variable shade and this enables the operator to easily adjust the level of tint of the viewing area. For low amperage applications it is desireable to have less tint whilst the opposite holds true for high amperage applications. The flip up visor enables the operator to undertake grinding operations without the need to switch protective shields. Stylish looks coupled with industry leading technology will ensure you look good welding whilst protecting your eyes with a helmet that is manufactured in Switzerland.
Fully automatic cartridges provide for easy use, no buttons to worry about. Simply wear the helmet and start welding, the helmet will automatically activate when required.

The human eye lacks the ability to perceive parts of the light spectrum that are highly dangerous such as ultra violet and infra red wavelengths. During the welding process, skin and eyes must be protected from these harmful wavelengths along with protection from intense brightness of the welding arc. The highly effective infra-red and UV filters by Eyerex reflect, filter and absorb the harmful spectrum whilst the ultra responsive electronically switched LCDs prevent glare to ensure safe working conditions are maintained during the welding process.
