Is there any other way to weld?

Is there any other way possible to weld other than the conventional method(the actual Welding tool and equipment?) I don’t have a Welder, and really have no desire to have one, but I need to get two sides of a brass tube together… any ideas? Fire and hammer, soldering iron… what would work?
Any idea is welcome, some more than others, lol. Thanks in advance, and I hope that someone will be able to answer this question… hopefully it is a yes, and hopefully you have an idea…

A soldering iron with lead solder and flux can work if those brass pieces are small, otherwise use a propane tourch soldering kit.
You can also braze the joiint, but the temperatures will need to be higher and more precise and a special filler rod or wire will be needed.
