Difference between Miller Welding Helmet and Hobart welding helmet?

Honestly, not a whole lot. Miller is considered slightly higher in quality than Hobart, but I think they have come pretty close to each other in terms of their equipment. Mostly, you are paying for a name you trust.

I would personally go for Miller if they had equal specs and comparable pricing. Why? I have more experience with Miller Welders, Plasma cutters, and auto darkening helmets. Hobart should be right up there, but I don’t have nearly the amount of experience with their stuff. That being said, I still think that Hobart makes great stuff that you would be proud to own.
