Welding hats, can you get them custom made?

not helments, but like the hats they remind me of a bandana, im trying to get one made for my boyfriend, someone said its possible but i have yet to find out how

It’s a beanie. A cap with no bill. The best are made of reverse leather. Anything less than leather will burn through when a klinker lands on it. Unless it’s leather, you’re better off not wearing one as the hot metal burns through and gets trapped.
