Lincoln Welding Helmets

Lincoln Welding Helmet Knowledge needed, or any welding helmet.?

I am looking to buy a welding helmet $100-$200, Lincoln seems pretty good and I’m thinking about getting one of these-

but i was wondering what the difference is in between the 700G Series and the 750S Series, are they for different purposes and which one should I get?
It will be for high school including Arc,Mig,Tig,Plasma cutting and anything for that matter but mainly arc

It seems that they’re pretty similar in most respects, but the 700G has a feature called grind mode that allows you to see when grinding, which would be a handy thing. They are very much the same, so I’d prefer the 700S because then you wouldn’t have to have to have a separate face shield for grinding, though your field of view wouldn’t be nearly as wide.

Do a little more research on their website and shop around for the best buy, if you can. Look into some sweat bands and other accessories, too, because they can make them a lot less uncomfortable. If it’s something you plan on doing a lot of, then buying the best one you can afford now makes the most sense. Good luck!
